Job Description

  • Develop and execute test plans for PLC software to ensure compliance with specified requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand software functionalities and resolve issues.
  • Perform functional, performance, and regression testing for PLC software.
  • Ensure the quality and reliability of software used in industrial and mechanical systems.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed test reports and documentation.
  • Analyse system requirements and design test strategies accordingly.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in software testing processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Test Analyst - PLC Softwares should have:

  • Educational qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience or knowledge in testing PLC software in the Industrial/Manufacturing sector.
  • Understanding of mechanical systems and their integration with software.
  • Proficiency in creating test plans, cases, and documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of functional, performance, and regression testing methodologies.
