Role Overview:

Test Analyst with over 5 years of experience in software testing, designing test cases, detection of bugs, functionality issues and errors in the output.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Setting up test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases.

Develop testing protocol for various aspects such as usability, database impact, error and bug finding, regression testing, and implementation scenarios.

Identify, analyze and create detailed records of problems that appear during testing, such as software defects, bugs, functionality issues, and output errors, and work directly with software developers to find solutions and develop retesting procedures.

Track problems, resolutions, and bug fixes throughout testing techniques.

Create detailed, step-by-step documentation of test procedures for each phase or project.

Communicate clearly and effectively with test personnel, users, developers, and clients to facilitate quick resolution of problems and accurate documentation of successes.

Provide frequent feedback to developers, including recommendations for improvements, evaluation of problems, potential solutions, and discussion of further test requirements.

Desired Skillset:

Understand the uses and methods of testing.

Hands on experience on JIRA.

Knowledge of testing mobile applications and location-based services.

Excellent knowledge in testing skills (design test plan and test strategy, writing test cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs).

Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.

Analyzing defects and helping development team in identifying the root cause of defect.

Ability to multi-task, work independently, and collaborate effectively with a team.

Proactive, self-starter who likes learning new tools and technologies.

Excellent time-management skills and commitment to meet deadlines.
