Job Description

  • As a Test Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring software quality by planning, designing, executing, and documenting test cases and results.
  • You will work closely with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • You will be responsible for identifying defects, logging issues, and contributing to defect triaging and resolution.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute actively in Agile/DevOps environments.
  • Support test automation, continuous testing, and shift-left initiatives as part of quality improvement.

What should you bring along

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, preferably in Agile or hybrid project environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to translate business requirements and functional specs into test cases and test scenarios.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for documentation and collaboration.
  • A proactive attitude with a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Must have technical skill

  • Good understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect life cycle.
  • Experience in test case design, execution, and defect tracking using tools like JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM,Confluence.
  • Very good knowledge on Database.
  • Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
  • Familiarity with SQL for validating backend data.
  • Knowledge on Sales Journey, Banking/SF.
  • Basic knowledge of automation testing and scripting (e.g., Selenium, Java/Python, or similar tools).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD environments like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
  • Understanding of cloud-based applications and environments (AWS, Azure).
  • Experience in BDD tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow.

Good to have skills

  • ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent.
  • Exposure to performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.
  • Domain knowledge in Banking/Finance.
