Role Description The Territory Sales Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Rajkot, responsible for driving business growth for Gro Digital Platforms within the assigned territory. This role involves identifying and onboarding new transport partners and fleet owners, maintaining relationships with existing partners, and promoting the company's digital solutions and services. The Territory Sales Officer will manage distribution channels, coordinate with local stakeholders, and ensure that partners are effectively using the platform to improve efficiency and profitability. Day-to-day tasks include market visits, sales meetings, performance tracking, and providing feedback from the field to internal teams. The role also requires regular reporting on sales activities, territory performance, and customer insights.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Sales and Sales Management skills, including target achievement, pipeline management, and relationship building.
- Candidates should possess Distribution Management and Channel Sales skills to develop, support, and optimize local partner and dealer networks.
- Candidates should possess Business skills, such as basic financial understanding, territory planning, and commercial negotiation.
- Experience in the transportation, logistics, automotive, or related industries is beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and mobile applications for sales and reporting.
- Relevant bachelor's degree in business, commerce, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in the field, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
