Job Title: Territory Manager - Project Sales
Job Purpose
The Territory Manager – Project Sales will be responsible for driving project sales across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana by developing strong relationships with contractors, builders, developers, consultants, structural engineers, and infrastructure companies. The role involves managing project pipelines, leading a field sales team, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving regional sales and revenue targets.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction materials sales, project sales, or infrastructure-related industries, along with strong leadership and business development capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Project Sales
- Drive project sales for Tata Steel products across the assigned territory.
- Identify, develop, and convert opportunities in residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
- Generate business for Tata Tiscon TMT Bars, Tiscon Readybuild, Weldmesh SmartFab, and related steel solutions.
- Develop district-wise sales strategies to maximize market penetration.
- Track upcoming private and government projects, tenders, and infrastructure developments.
- Build and maintain a robust project sales pipeline.
Sales Planning & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Prepare sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
- Develop account-specific strategies for key customers and large projects.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely order closures.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage Sales Associates across the territory.
- Allocate districts, projects, and customer accounts.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and field coaching sessions.
- Support team members in handling critical negotiations and large project opportunities.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends.
- Track steel consumption patterns and project requirements.
- Provide actionable market intelligence to management.
- Identify opportunities for market expansion and revenue growth.

Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Business Management preferred.
