Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve assigned sales targets (monthly, quarterly, annual).
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers.
  • Promote and sell medical devices to doctors, surgeons, and procurement teams.
  • Ensure effective territory coverage and customer segmentation.

2. Key Account Management

  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders (doctors, hospital management, purchase teams).
  • Handle institutional sales and government tenders (if applicable).
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.

3. Product Demonstration & Training

  • Conduct product demonstrations, trials, and presentations.
  • Train healthcare professionals on product usage and benefits.
  • Coordinate with clinical specialists where required.

4. Channel Management

  • Appoint and manage distributors/stockists in the territory.
  • Monitor distributor performance, stock levels, and secondary sales.
  • Ensure timely order processing and collections.

5. Market Intelligence

  • Track competitor activities, pricing, and new product launches.
  • Provide market feedback to management for strategic decisions.
  • Identify trends and opportunities in the medical device segment.

6. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and healthcare compliance standards.
  • Maintain accurate sales reports, CRM updates, and expense records.
  • Participate in audits and regulatory requirements if applicable.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science / Pharmacy / Biomedical Engineering / Business Administration
  • MBA (preferred)

Experience

  • 3–7 years of sales experience in medical devices / healthcare / pharma industry
  • Experience in handling institutional or B2B healthcare sales preferred
