Job Description

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets.
  • Drive primary and secondary sales across assigned territories.
  • Manage and lead a team of Medical Representatives/Area Managers.
  • Set sales targets and monitor team performance regularly.
  • Conduct joint field visits and provide on-the-job coaching.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, and distributors.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and key accounts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Ensure effective product promotion and brand visibility.
  • Organize CMEs, doctor meetings, and promotional activities.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and periodic sales reports.
  • Analyze sales data and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and pharmaceutical regulations.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams for business support.
  • Recruit, train, and retain high-performing sales team members.
  • Manage territory-wise sales planning and expense budgets.
  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from customers.
  • Drive market expansion and launch new products successfully.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and sales MIS records.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue objectives.
