Job Description

Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to lead and drive the Loans Against Gold business in designated territories. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and a strong understanding of the gold loan market.

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to maximize business opportunities and achieve revenue targets. You will lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success. Your role will involve building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions.

  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve business targets.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales executives, providing performance feedback and coaching.
  • Conduct market research and analyze competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
  • Identify potential clients and generate new business leads.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and product knowledge to offer effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements in the gold loan business.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in the gold loan industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in sales strategies and techniques, including lead generation and relationship building.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
