Job Description

Job Title: Territory Sales Manager

Location: Onsite Thane, Ghatkopar, Andheri, Mulund, Dadar, Dombivli, Kalyan, Bhiwandi, Bhandup, Nahur, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Job Summary:

We're hiring a Territory Manager to lead sales operations in key areas of Mumbai. You will be responsible for managing a sales team, achieving targets, recruiting and training team members, building customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulations, especially in the life insurance sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a sales team to meet regional sales targets and support business growth
  • Create and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales personnel to build a strong team
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Monitor the market and competitors to identify new opportunities
  • Ensure all work follows company policies and legal standards
  • Work with other departments to improve sales and customer service
  • Report on sales results, forecasts, and market trends to senior managers
  • Conduct regular team meetings to solve challenges and improve communication

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience in a leadership role within the life insurance industry, especially with recruiting and developing teams
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent sales and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience building and leading a productive sales team
  • Solid understanding of insurance products and industry practices

Additional Key Tasks:

  • Plan and lead recruitment to grow the sales team
  • Create and run training programs for new and existing team members
  • Set goals and evaluate team performance regularly
  • Adapt sales strategies to local market conditions and customer needs
  • Ensure all sales activities follow regulations and ethical standards
  • Keep open communication with the team through regular meetings
