Job Title: Territory Sales Manager
Location: Onsite Thane, Ghatkopar, Andheri, Mulund, Dadar, Dombivli, Kalyan, Bhiwandi, Bhandup, Nahur, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
Job Summary:
We're hiring a Territory Manager to lead sales operations in key areas of Mumbai. You will be responsible for managing a sales team, achieving targets, recruiting and training team members, building customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulations, especially in the life insurance sector.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a sales team to meet regional sales targets and support business growth
- Create and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals
- Recruit, train, and develop sales personnel to build a strong team
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Monitor the market and competitors to identify new opportunities
- Ensure all work follows company policies and legal standards
- Work with other departments to improve sales and customer service
- Report on sales results, forecasts, and market trends to senior managers
- Conduct regular team meetings to solve challenges and improve communication
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
- Experience in a leadership role within the life insurance industry, especially with recruiting and developing teams
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent sales and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience building and leading a productive sales team
- Solid understanding of insurance products and industry practices

- Plan and lead recruitment to grow the sales team
- Create and run training programs for new and existing team members
- Set goals and evaluate team performance regularly
- Adapt sales strategies to local market conditions and customer needs
- Ensure all sales activities follow regulations and ethical standards
