We are seeking a highly motivated Territory Sales Manager to drive new business growth and manage key client relationships within an assigned territory. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, handling the entire sales cycle, and ensuring customer satisfaction to increase market share and meet revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop strategic relationships with senior management and new accounts.
- Build awareness about company products and solutions in the market.
- Manage new business inquiries to closure.
- Work closely with multiple industries in the assigned geography.
- Identify new business opportunities and grow the business through multi-channel distribution: OEMs, End Users, Consultants, and Dealers.
- Handle the complete sales cycle: identifying and creating opportunities, offering solutions, presenting business cases, submitting proposals, and interacting with internal teams for pricing.
- Actively address customers key concerns and drive sales of higher service levels and new value-added services.
- Help prepare annual budgets by providing information on market potential and penetration goals.
- Meet the budgeted Net Revenue and Gross Margin objectives.
- Maintain and increase market share in the assigned region by proactively working with customers, staying ahead of the competition.
- Ensure a timely response to customer communications and requirements. Act as a customer representative, liaising with the plant for timely delivery.
- Deal with various customer complaints and resolve issues to maintain long-term relationships.
- Ensure the prompt follow-up and collection of payments from customers.
- Report daily activities by email to the Manager.
- Regularly follow up on competitors activities and update Management.
Skills Required
- Strong experience in strategic sales and account development.
- Proven ability to manage the complete sales cycle.
- Expertise in multi-channel distribution (OEMs, End Users, etc.).
- Excellent skills in customer relationship management and issue resolution.
- Ability to contribute to annual budget preparation with market insights.
- Focus on achieving Net Revenue and Gross Margin objectives.
- Strong skills in market analysis and competitor monitoring.
- Proficient in daily and regular reporting.
- Experience in payment collection.
