Role Description The Territory Sales Incharge is a full-time, hybrid role based in Ahmedabad, with a mix of on-site field work and some work-from-home flexibility. This role is responsible for managing sales operations within the assigned territory, including meeting sales targets, expanding distributor and retailer networks, and driving product visibility and availability. Daily activities include visiting key accounts, building strong relationships with distributors and retailers, monitoring market trends and competitor activities, and ensuring timely order booking and collections. The Territory Sales Incharge will also collaborate with the regional sales team, conduct product training for channel partners, and provide feedback to marketing and product teams to support business growth.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with distributors, retailers, and internal teams.
- Proven sales and sales management skills, with experience in achieving targets and managing a defined territory.
- Customer service and relationship-building skills to ensure high levels of partner satisfaction and loyalty.
- Training and coaching skills to guide distributors, retail staff, and sales promoters on product features and selling techniques.
- Experience in footwear, FMCG, or consumer goods sales preferred, with understanding of channel and retail sales.
- Ability to analyze sales data, plan routes, and prioritize accounts to maximize territory performance.
- Comfort with hybrid work, frequent field travel within the territory, and use of digital tools for reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is desirable.
