Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Territory Sales Executive role based in Kozhikode. The Territory Sales Executive will identify and qualify prospective customers, conduct site visits, and present solar solutions tailored to residential and commercial clients. Responsibilities include managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation and product demonstration to proposal preparation, negotiation, and closing. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, following up on installations, and ensuring a high standard of service and satisfaction. The Territory Sales Executive will also collaborate with technical and operations teams, prepare regular sales reports, and stay informed about market trends, competitors, and new products in the solar industry.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability in field sales, business development, or territory management, ideally within solar, renewable energy, or related technical products.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, customer-friendly language.
  • Effective relationship-building and customer service skills, with a focus on long-term client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Solid organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills, including accurate documentation and reporting of sales activities.
  • Basic understanding of solar energy solutions or a willingness and aptitude to learn technical aspects quickly.
  • Comfort with using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and mobile applications to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience in sales.
  • Ability to work on-site in Kozhikode, travel within the assigned territory, and hold a valid driver's license or reliable means of local travel.
