About the Role
The
Territory Manager SEPL is responsible for sourcing and managing loan business through Direct Sales Teams (DSTs), Liability Branches, Connectors and existing channel partners. The role focuses on building a high-quality loan portfolio while ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory guidelines. The role holder is expected to lead a team, maintain strong market relationships, and drive business growth in a sales-supportive yet risk-conscious manner, contributing to the broader objectives of the bank's retail lending business.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Source and manage business through DSTs, Liability Branches, Open Market and other market channels.
- Acquire new customers and ensure consistent loan disbursement volumes.
- Maintain a high-quality loan portfolio by minimizing delinquencies and rejections.
- Monitor and guide channel partners to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Stay updated on retail asset products, operational processes, and market trends.
- Identify evolving market dynamics and develop strategies for channel development and customer acquisition.
- Ensure adherence to all internal policies, processes, and compliance guidelines.
- Demonstrate ability to build, lead and motivate high-performing teams.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Recommend improvements to sales processes and credit policies to enhance operational efficiency and customer service quality.
- Foster collaboration across departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
What We Are Looking For
Education
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Postgraduate qualification (MBA/PGDM) is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in retail lending, preferably in enterprise loans or similar asset-based financing.
Skills and Attributes
- Strong understanding of retail lending products and credit operations.
- Proven ability to manage sales channels and drive business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
