Job Description

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As an Account Manager at MKS Atotech India, you will drive overall sales at the designated customer / region. You will develop sales practices and co-ordinate with teams to maximise sales from designated account, new customer acquisition and provide support to assigned customers. This role requires good knowledge of the Chemical and Electrochemical processes. In this role, you will report to the Sr. Territory Manager ( Location : Bangalore / Hosur)

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Work together with the team to retain existing business, gain new business and successful commissioning of new projects to achieve the Annual Budget for the product groups.
  • Identify new opportunities, new technical requirements, new fields, technology roadmap of OEMs and co-ordinate with Regional Manager / Process Specialists to meet the requirements.
  • Provide technical support during Pre-installation audit of lines during new installations of MKS (Atotech) processes, regular process audit, trouble shooting activities
  • Training : Provide necessary training to customer personnel to implement process control and maintenance.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, and partners in the region. Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Conduct regular customer visits and meetings to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Market Analysis and Reporting: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and provide insights on market dynamics. Prepare and present sales reports, market analysis, and forecasts to senior management. Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements.
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 50% of Travel is required.

Skills You Bring:

  • Chemical or Electroplating Engineer (B.E. / B.Tech./ M.Sc chemistry major) 5+ years of experience in Electroplating Industry preferably in the PCB industry.
  • Experience of customer service and troubleshooting would be an added advantage,
  • Excellent communication, analytical skills and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of computers, proficiency in MS office (Excel, word, Power point)
  • Willingness to travel across the country for customer meetings and support.
  • Willingness to be relocated to other parts of the country as deemed by the business needs.
