About the Role

The Territory Manager – Education Loan (International) is responsible for driving disbursement targets for international education loans within a defined territory. This role involves managing a team of sales executives, generating business through multiple channels including DSAs, counsellors, Consultants and digital platforms, and ensuring high team productivity and compliance.

The incumbent will also focus on cross-selling financial products such as insurance and forex, training partners, and improving service delivery through process enhancements and collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of sales executives to achieve targeted disbursement volumes for international education loans.
  • Generate business through DSAs, counsellors, bank branches, and digital platforms.
  • Drive cross-sell of allied financial products such as insurance and forex services.
  • Maintain and improve team productivity through regular training and performance reviews.
  • Train channel partners on product features, policies, and compliance requirements.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Recommend process changes to improve service efficiency and customer experience across the assigned territory.
  • Suggest improvements to policies and procedures across Retail Banking to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to leverage synergies and support business growth.

What We Are Looking For

Education

  • Graduation: Full time graduate in any discipline from a recognised institution.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably in retail lending or international education finance within BFSI industry.

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to drive sales and meet disbursement targets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • High customer orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to train and motivate teams and partners effectively.
  • Familiarity with digital and traditional sales channels.
