Job Description

The Territory Manager for our Exclusive Brand Outlet channel is accountable for managing end-to-end sales & operations of BASICS Menswear Apparel in Chennai Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the business in Chennai across all performance metrics against the business target on a monthly/quarterly and yearly basis.
  • Plan, execute and achieve the budgeted sales targets as per the business plan.
  • Ensure sales targets are met and will be responsible for the collections of the sales made.
  • Implement sales promotion activities and roll out trade specific schemes.
  • Publish reports outlining all sales activity and communicate to management, via daily, weekly and monthly scorecards.
  • Develop market intelligence and expansion of distribution network and online channels.
  • Explore new markets and expand the distributor infrastructure and appoint new partners in untapped markets.
  • Develop & optimize marketing efforts tied in with growth and sales targets.
  • Providing support and guidance pertaining to operations and administration to the staffs.
  • Develop and sustain the existing network and effectively manage the supply chain.
  • Effective control & minimizing the leakages and damages.
  • Ensure compliance with organization and government policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the team development plans are documented and leadership development plans are in place for high performers.

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum 4-7 years of experience in large format retail channel.
  • Should be from an apparel background.
  • Should be willing to travel.
  • Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets. Demonstrated expertise leading operations, and managing and improving profit & market share.
  • High on work ethics & result orientation.
