About the Role
The
Sales Manager Business Loan in the
Retail Banking function is responsible for acquiring Business Loan customers for a designated branch through direct customer interaction. The role involves explaining and selling banking products, acting as a bridge between customers and the bank, and ensuring best-in-class service delivery. The incumbent is expected to conduct catchment mapping, gather customer feedback, and identify potential business opportunities. The role is pivotal in driving client acquisition, deepening relationships, and maximizing lifetime customer value to support the bank's broader growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Acquire Business Loan customers within the identified segment and geography.
- Meet and exceed monthly targets for new customer acquisition.
- Provide regular feedback to Relationship Managers (RMs) on customer opportunities and requirements.
- Ensure adherence to selling norms and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) defined by the organization.
- Maintain strict compliance with internal policies and external regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure quality sourcing aligned with the bank's credit and operational policies.
- Identify new channels / DSA's and empanel them.
- Ensure every channel / DSA contributes for the business.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Foster a culture of automation and digital enablement to holistically meet customer needs.
What We Are Looking For
Education
- Graduation: Any Graduate (Full-time)
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in business loan sales or related financial services.
Skills and Attributes
- Strong sales and customer acquisition skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
- Deep understanding of business loan products and customer needs.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
- High level of compliance awareness and attention to detail.
