- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base in the assigned territory
- Manage, lead, and motivate a team of Sales Managers and Advisors for health insurance sales
- Drive recruitment, training, and development of the sales team to ensure productivity and performance
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics and provide timely feedback and coaching
- Build strong business relationships with distributors, partners, and clients to drive business growth
- Implement sales strategies to improve penetration in the local market
- Ensure adherence to company policies, processes, and regulatory compliance
- Liaise with internal teams like underwriting, operations, and customer service to ensure seamless onboarding and post-sales service
- Conduct regular market visits and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Plan and execute local promotional campaigns, events, and activities to generate leads
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery
Educational Qualifications:
- Graduate (any discipline); MBA preferred
Experience Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in insurance sales, preferably in health insurance
- Minimum 2-3 years in a team management role under the direct channel
