Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for framing business questions and applying market research and analytical methods.
  • You will be responsible for translating research findings into actionable recommendations for strategic initiatives.
  • You will be responsible for evaluating marketplace dynamics, competitor activity, and new market opportunities.
  • You will be responsible for managing partnerships, dossiers, and supporting regulatory filings and launches.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating vendors and data providers to deliver business insights within timelines.
  • You will be responsible for collaborating with global and cross-functional teams to share best practices.
  • You will be responsible for facilitating acquisitions through consultant engagement, proposal evaluations, and agreements.
  • You will be responsible for aligning with portfolio teams and BD managers on active and on-hold projects.

Educational Qualification

Post Graduation in pharmacy/MBA preferred. Graduation in Science preferred

Minimum Work Experience

  • 5+ years / 7+ years experience within pharma industry

Critical Exposures

  • Corporate strategy manager role in API / Biologics / Biosimilars / Formulations
  • Business Development / Sales manager in a smaller geography (API Formulations /any) with exposure to licensing
  • M&A manager role in pharma or consulting
  • Analyst in portfolio team for a min of 2 years with a prior role in sales (Rx) and/or brand/product management (Rx) as ABM/KAM
  • Exposure to procurement & negotiation/pharma strategic consulting/ tech platform collaborations in pharma
