Terraform Admin with GKE

Roles & Responsibilities

• Unix/Linux Administration: 5+ years extensive experience in Unix/Linux system administration.
• Production Environment Support: 3+ years experience managing on-prem production-grade environments for tools like Redis (Enterprise), Kafka, Elasticsearch, Astronomer.
• Cloud & IAC: 2+ years experience with Terraform or similar IAC tools; 2+ years managing Google Cloud services (PSC, Interconnect, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, Memory Store).
• Kubernetes & COTS Apps: 2+ years deploying commercial off-the-shelf apps in K8 environments like OpenShift or GKE.
• Automation & Scripting: Experience with Ansible, Shell Scripts, Python, Java.
• Cluster & Linux Management: Cluster management, configuration, upgrades, and migrations on Red Hat Linux 8 in virtual machines.
• Infrastructure Migration: Lead major infra migration programs (on-prem to on-prem, on-prem to public cloud, hybrid cloud).
• Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Linux performance tuning, monitoring, patching, security setup, and optimization.
• ITIL Practices: Experience in Change Management, Incident Management, RFC, Problem Management, RCA.
• Monitoring & Metrics: Work with monitoring tools, optimize troubleshooting, and apply expertise across infra and application domains.
• Customer Interaction: Provide technical support to customers during outages and complex situations.
