Job Description

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Teradata tools such as BTEQ and TPT Utility.
Optimize and enhance existing ETL workflows for increased performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality and integrity.
Monitor ETL processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise in the data pipeline.
Participate in the technical design and architecture of data integration solutions.
Document ETL processes, data mapping, and operational procedures for future reference and compliance.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Teradata ETL Developer with strong knowledge of BTEQ and TPT Utility.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL methodologies, and data modeling.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with writing complex queries for data extraction and manipulation.
Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques, particularly in a Teradata environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve ETL issues efficiently.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated and detail-oriented.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
