Role Description The Tendering Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for managing the end-to-end tender process for motor and motion system projects. This role involves identifying relevant tenders, analyzing tender documents, coordinating clarifications, and preparing compliant and competitive proposals in collaboration with sales, engineering, and finance teams. The Tendering Specialist will oversee bid submission, track tender outcomes, maintain tender documentation and databases, and support contract negotiation handover to execution teams. Daily activities include monitoring procurement portals, aligning proposals with technical and commercial requirements, ensuring adherence to internal approval workflows, and supporting continuous improvement in tender win rates and profitability.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Tender Management and Procurement skills, including experience with bidding processes, government and private tenders, and vendor registration.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret tender terms, evaluate risks, and perform cost and margin analysis.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication and Proposal Writing skills to prepare clear, persuasive technical and commercial proposals and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with industrial or engineering environments, preferably in motors, electrical, manufacturing, or related sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Commerce, or a related field; prior experience in tendering, sales support, or contracts administration is preferred.
• Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word), and the ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines.
• Candidates should possess collaborative working skills, a structured approach to documentation, and a commitment to ethical, compliant tender practices.
