Job Title: Tender Manager / Specialist
Role Overview
Looking for a detail-oriented Tender Executive to join our tendering and business development team. This is an entry-level opportunity for a commerce graduate to build a career in government and institutional tendering, including GeM (Government e-Marketplace) and other e-procurement portals. The role involves supporting tender identification, documentation, compliance, and bid submission.
Qualifications / Requirements
- B.Com, M.Com, BBA (Finance), or equivalent commerce background.
- Freshers with 0–1 year of experience are eligible to apply.
- Prior internship or exposure to tendering/procurement is an added advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and formulas.
- Fluent verbal and written communication in English and Hindi.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy while handling documents and figures.
- Good understanding of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PDF tools.
- Working knowledge of the GeM portal is a plus.
- Basic understanding of GST, PAN, EMD, and other statutory/compliance documents used in tendering.
- Ability to work under deadline pressure and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Search, track, and shortlist relevant tenders on GeM and other e-procurement/e-tendering portals on a daily basis.
- Read and analyze tender documents, including NIT, RFP, technical and financial bid formats.
- Prepare and compile technical and financial bid documents as per tender specifications.
- Ensure all required documents, including registration certificates, GST, PAN, EMD, turnover proof, and experience certificates, are complete and correctly formatted before submission.
- Coordinate with Finance, Operations, and HR teams to collect supporting documents.
- Track tender submission deadlines and ensure timely online/offline submission without errors.
- Maintain a tender tracker in Excel covering tender status, deadlines, EMD details, and submission outcomes.
- Monitor tender corrigenda, addendums, and pre-bid meeting clarifications and update documentation accordingly.
- Assist in preparing rate/price bids in coordination with the pricing/costing team.
- Follow up on bid results and maintain records of won/lost tenders.
- Support post-award documentation, including LOA, work orders, and agreements.
- Maintain organized physical and digital records of tender-related correspondence and submissions.
