The opportunity:
This role represents SCM in Tender Core Team. Accountable for calculating and setting the right budget for SCM that enables business in winning the tender while ensuring SCM team can deliver as per the budget and considerations taken in the tender in case the project is awarded to the business.
How you'll make an impact:
Coordinating with SCM Category Manager to define Tender sourcing strategy and suppliers to be considered for RFQ and budget. Ensure compliance with SCM policies, procedures, and sustainability goals.
Participate and contribute to Tender meetings as well as in Design Review meetings.
Issue RFQs to Suppliers, collect and analyze offers, prepare comparative bid sheets.
Analyze / benchmark supplier offers based on historical data and market trends to ensure right cost levels are captured for the budget.
Fill Tender calculation sheet in accordance with instructions get all necessary information and populate all the different worksheets.
In collaboration with Category management remain updated on market pricing and deliveries, commodity trends, capacity constraints, risks and opportunities.
Continuous Improvement by close cooperation with Project SCM.
Document the Tender Cost Improvements
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background :
Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical engineering
8 -10 years of experience in SCM/ engineering / tendering roles in energy or infrastructure projects with experience in handling electrical commodities.
Good analytical skills.
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with HVAC/HVDC systems and EPC project environments is desirable.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and MS Office tools. Strong knowledge of excel.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
