Tender & RFP Specialist (IT-SaaS) - Immediate Joiner

About the Role

We are looking for a Tender & RFP Specialist with hands-on experience in managing Indian Government and enterprise tenders/RFPs, particularly within the IT, software, technology, or digital services industry.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience working on GeM and other Indian government/e-procurement portals, along with the ability to independently identify relevant opportunities, assess eligibility, coordinate bid documentation, and manage the tender process through submission.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify relevant Indian Government and private-sector tenders/RFPs for IT and software services.
• Monitor and work extensively on GeM (Government e-Marketplace) and other Indian tender/e-procurement portals.
• Identify opportunities related to:

• Application Development
• Mobile/Web Development
• Data & Analytics
• Managed IT Services
• Technology Support Services
• Evaluate tender eligibility, technical requirements, commercial requirements, EMD/PBG requirements, timelines, and submission conditions.
• Prepare and maintain tender opportunity trackers and compliance matrices.
• Coordinate with Sales, Presales, Technical, Finance, Legal, and Management teams for bid preparation.
• Collect and organize technical, commercial, statutory, and company documentation required for bids.
• Manage the complete tender lifecycle from opportunity identification through submission.
• Track clarifications, corrigenda, amendments, pre-bid meetings, deadlines, and submission requirements.
• Maintain a database of tender portals, customer registrations, credentials, documents, and historical bids.
• Conduct post-bid follow-up and maintain records of submitted, shortlisted, lost, and won opportunities.
• Identify recurring tender opportunities and build a pipeline of potential future bids.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of all tender documentation.

Must-Have Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in Tender/RFP/Bid Management.
• Hands-on experience with GeM is mandatory.
• Experience with other Indian government/e-procurement portals such as CPPP, eProcure, state e-tender portals, PSU portals, etc.
• Experience working with an IT/software/technology services company is strongly preferred.
• Practical experience in preparing and submitting government/enterprise bids.
• Good understanding of tender eligibility, compliance requirements, bid documentation, and submission processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.

Good to Have

• Experience with international RFP/tender portals.
• Knowledge of AI, Cloud, SaaS, software development, or digital transformation services.
• Experience working with enterprise RFPs.
• Experience creating compliance matrices and bid/no-bid evaluations.
• Experience with CRM, SharePoint, tender management systems, or similar tools.
