Role Summary

Assist in managing end-to-end government tender participation through the Government eMarketplace (GeM) portal, including tender discovery, documentation, bid submission, and post-award coordination while ensuring compliance with government procurement guidelines.

Location: Remote

Type: Unpaid Internship

Duration : 3 Months (Flexible)

Key Responsibilities

Tender Identification & Analysis

  • Search and track relevant tenders on the GeM portal daily
  • Analyze bid eligibility criteria, technical specifications, and commercial terms
  • Prepare tender opportunity reports and share with the sales/management team
  • Maintain tender calendar and submission deadlines

Documentation & Compliance

  • Collect and verify required documents (GST, PAN, MSME, ISO, company certificates, etc.)
  • Prepare technical and commercial bid documents as per tender requirements
  • Ensure compliance with government procurement policies and formats
  • Organize and maintain digital tender documentation repository

Bid Preparation & Submission

  • Assist in uploading bids on the GeM portal
  • Prepare price sheets and BOQ (Bill of Quantity) formats
  • Coordinate with internal departments for technical specifications
  • Handle bid submission before deadline and troubleshoot portal errors

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain tender database (won/lost analysis)
  • Prepare weekly/monthly tender activity reports
  • Identify improvement opportunities in bidding strategy
