Job Description

Job Title: Tender Manager

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer with experience in CRP/SAS projects, tendering, estimation, and project sales to handle technical proposals, customer coordination, and project-related activities.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Estimation & Tendering (CRP/SAS/Turnkey Projects)

●      Search and identify relevant government tenders through GeM, NIC, and state e-procurement portals.

●      Review tender documents for eligibility, technical, and commercial requirements.

●      Coordinate with internal teams for BOQ preparation, compliance, pricing, and documentation.

●      Prepare and submit technical and commercial bids within timelines.

●      Ensure accurate submission of all supporting documents, declarations, and annexures.

●      Handle post-bid activities such as clarifications, corrigendum, and pre-bid coordination.

●      Maintain records of tender submissions, outcomes, and pricing references.

●      Support management and business development teams in tender and project coordination activities.

2. Sales Support:

●      Experience in Team Management & Reports Evaluation 

●      Prepare and send the quotation to the customer, and close the order 

●      Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections

●      Working towards achieving the sales target

●      Technically work on the inquiry that we receive from the customer

●      Technically, coordination between Vendors and Customers

●      Actively seek out new sales opportunities

●      Work on various projects that are assigned by the company 

 

3. Team Coordination:

●      Collaborate with team members to achieve better results

●      Experience in Team Management & Reports Evaluation 

4. Technical knowledge:

  • Clear understanding of Substation Controls, Relay protection functions, Panel schematics, and SAS Architecture & Functions.
  • Selection of panel components and Relay models based on the customer specification and scheme requirements.
  • Estimation of detailed CRP & SAS BOQ for procurement of materials.
  • Technical evaluation of CRP & SAS equipment and coordination with the procurement team & Execution team for placement of Purchase orders.
  • Knowledge of communication equipment, i.e., PLCC & FOTE, and their interface with the CRP & SAS System.
  •  Coordination with the execution team for the engineering clarifications and field changes during site execution.
  • Leading the tendering team, preparation of CRP & SAS BOQ, and evaluation of tender stage offers.
  • Studying and understanding technical specifications and the scope of the projects, and raising technical clarifications.
  • Should have good knowledge of substation and substation equipments
  • Technical support to the internal team for relay selection and other related products
  • Leadership quality, and should be a good team player
  • Self-motivated to achieve targets set by management

●      Salary Package (Monthly Gross): depends on Experience
