Key Responsibilities:
Tender Preparation Submission:
- Manage the end-to-end tendering process for building design and structural projects.
- Analyze tender documentation and requirements, ensuring compliance with the scope of works.
- Coordinate with internal teams (designers, engineers, project managers) to gather relevant project data.
- Draft, compile, and submit tender documents, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
- Prepare and submit technical, financial, and compliance documentation as per project requirements.
Collaboration Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to clarify any issues and ensure accurate information is gathered for the tender.
- Work with the estimation team to develop cost-effective and competitive pricing strategies.
- Liaise with the legal and finance departments to ensure contract terms and conditions are clear and understood.
Tender Review Evaluation:
- Review incoming tenders to evaluate the competitive landscape and assess the feasibility of bids.
- Assist in the preparation of bid analysis reports, summarizing key project aspects such as scope, risks, and costs.
- Participate in the negotiation process with clients and stakeholders as required.
Risk Management Compliance:
- Ensure all bids adhere to company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with each project and propose mitigation strategies.
- Maintain records of all tender submissions and associated documents for future reference and audits.
Continuous Improvement:
- Keep up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes relevant to the building design and structural sectors.
- Suggest improvements in the tendering process to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and competitiveness.
Post-Tender Activities:
- Assist in post-bid meetings, ensuring feedback is collected to improve future submissions.
- Monitor tender outcomes, including winning bids and feedback from unsuccessful tenders, to inform future strategies.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in project management, procurement, or construction management are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a tendering or bidding role, ideally in the construction, building design, or structural sector.
- Familiarity with construction contracts, building codes, and industry standards.
- Experience in managing multiple tenders concurrently with varying timelines and complexity.

- Strong understanding of tender documentation, procurement processes, and bidding strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
