Job Title: Tender Executive (GeM Portal Specialist)

Experience Required: Minimum 3 Years (Mandatory on GeM Portal)

Location: Varanasi

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Tender Executive with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end tender management, bid submissions, documentation, and coordination related to government and PSU tenders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate tender opportunities on the GeM portal and other government platforms.
  • Handle end-to-end GeM bidding process, including product listing, BOQ-based bids, custom bids, and reverse auctions.
  • Prepare and submit tenders within deadlines, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tender requirements.
  • Experience in handling service bids such as manpower services, facility management, consultancy, logistics, or similar.
  • Manage documentation such as EMD, bid bonds, technical documents, and commercial proposals.
  • Track tender status, clarifications, corrigenda, and bid results on GeM.
  • Handle post-bid activities including order acceptance, contract execution, and performance monitoring.
  • Maintain records of submitted tenders, awarded contracts, and performance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with government procurement rules and GeM guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience working on the GeM portal (mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of government tendering processes and procurement norms
  • Experience in BOQ bids, custom bids, and reverse auctions on GeM
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic data analysis
  • Excellent documentation, coordination, and follow-up skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or any relevant field
  • Prior experience handling PSU, Central/State Government tenders
  • Familiarity with CPPP, eProcurement portals (preferred but not mandatory)
