Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tender Estimation Expert (MEP) to join our team in Ahmedabad. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing tender documents, preparing BOQs, estimating project costs, and submitting techno-commercial bids for MEP projects including HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, and Utility Systems. The role requires strong technical knowledge, commercial understanding, and the ability to manage multiple tenders within strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, specifications, and client requirements.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and conduct rate analysis for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracting works.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotations and prepare comparative statements.
• Prepare and submit techno-commercial bids within stipulated timelines.
• Identify project risks, assumptions, exclusions, and value engineering opportunities.
• Support post-tender discussions, negotiations, and project handover activities.
• Maintain estimation records, cost databases, bid documentation, and reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of tender submissions.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of MEP systems including HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, and Utilities.
• Hands-on experience in tendering, estimation, and BOQ preparation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for costing, analysis, and bid comparisons.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and time-management abilities.

Preferred Profile

• 3–4 years of experience in MEP estimation and tendering.
• Experience handling multiple tenders simultaneously.
• Familiarity with contract terms, commercial conditions, and bidding procedures.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight submission deadlines.
