Core Responsibilities
- Capture, document, and maintain business requirements in BRD/FSD formats and update them in JIRA.
- Engage with Product Owner (PO) and users to analyze requirements, slice them into user stories, and agree on acceptance criteria.
- Elicit and communicate requirements clearly to the development team.
- Prepare test cases, execute testing during implementation, and demo/prototype features to the PO.
- Lead production issue resolution: own, assign, track, and close issues.
- Proactively identify and prevent defects from reaching production to minimize leakage.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Deep knowledge of Agile/Scrum: user stories, slicing, story point estimation, sprint planning.
- Strong payments domain experience: CASA, AMS, payment messages (SWIFT, ISO20022, PAIN, MTxxx, SFMS, NEFT, RTGS), clearing systems (CHAPS, etc.).
- Preferred: Temenos skills in Arrangement Architecture (AA) and TPH.
- 8-12 years as a Business Analyst in payments, with expertise in CASA, accounting, and payment products/formats.
