Scope of the Role

A teller plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of a bank, serving as a frontline representative who interacts directly with customers. A Teller will have the opportunity to be the friendly face and helpful hand for customers as they handle their financial transactions. It will involve handling cash, processing deposits and withdrawals, and providing excellent customer service. The role of a bank teller requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and a good understanding of banking products and services

Job Description

• Process cash and check deposits accurately. Assist customers with cash withdrawals and check cashing. Facilitate fund transfers between accounts.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Guide customers on various banking products and services.
• Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions.
• Respond to customer inquiries about account balances and transaction history.
• Promote and cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs. Maintain accurate records of transactions.

Ideal Candidates

• Candidates with at least 1 year of experience with any banks as Teller and having cash handling experience.
• Candidate should have ability to generate leads for other products will be an added advantage.
