IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Teller. As a Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and performing a variety of banking transactions for our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
- Assist customers with account inquiries, product information, and issue resolution
- Promote and cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs
- Maintain a thorough understanding of bank policies and procedures
- Balance cash drawer and maintain accurate records of all transactions
- Adhere to all security and compliance protocols to ensure the safety of customer and bank assets
- Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and provide a positive work environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or cash handling role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Knowledge of banking products and services preferred
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays
