The team operates from its location at 10 East Topsia Road, Kolkata 700046, serving both retail and professional customers. PROVO focuses on delivering reliable products, strong after-sales support, and a premium in-store experience.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Telesales Specialist role based in Kolkata. The Telesales Specialist will handle outbound and inbound calls to generate leads, understand customer requirements, and promote PROVO's range of interior materials and modular solutions. Daily responsibilities include explaining product features and benefits, preparing basic quotations or forwarding detailed requirements to the sales team, and following up with prospects to drive conversions. The role includes maintaining accurate records in the CRM or call logs, coordinating with the showroom and field sales teams, and supporting post-sale customer queries by phone. The Telesales Specialist will also participate in product training sessions to stay updated on new offerings and promotions, and contribute feedback on customer trends to improve sales strategies.
Qualifications

  • Strong customer-facing abilities, including Customer Service and Customer Support skills to handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and maintain positive relationships.
  • Excellent Communication skills, with clear spoken English and local language proficiency, and the ability to explain technical product details in simple terms.
  • Proven Sales skills, including telesales or inside sales experience, lead conversion, and basic negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Experience in Training or willingness to participate in ongoing product and sales training to continuously improve performance.
  • Comfort using phones, CRM tools, and basic office software to log calls, manage leads, and track follow-ups.
  • Prior experience in interiors, building materials, or retail sales is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Minimum high school diploma; a bachelor's degree in any discipline is preferred.
  • Ability to work on-site full time in Kolkata, with a disciplined, target-oriented, and collaborative approach.
