Role Overview
We're looking for anAcademic Counsellorwho can guide students, not confuse them. If you can listen, advise, and convert conversations into confident decisions then this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents about courses, admissions, and career pathways
- Handle inbound & outbound calls, walk-ins, and online enquiries
- Understand student needs and recommend the right programs
- Follow up with prospective students till enrolment (yes, persistence matters)
- Maintain accurate student data and counselling records
- Coordinate with admissions, marketing, and academic teams
- Meet monthly counselling and enrolment targets (targets are real, not scary)
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline (Education background is a bonus, not a mandate)
- Strong communication skills (English + Hindi required)
- Comfortable with counselling, sales, and relationship building
- Ability to handle pressure and objections like a pro
- Basic knowledge of CRM/tools is a plus
- Freshers with the right attitude are welcome (skills can be taught)
