Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Telesales Executive role based at PROVO's Kolkata location (10 East Topsia Road, Kolkata 700046). The Telesales Executive will engage with potential and existing customers over the phone to introduce PROVO's product range, explain features and benefits, and convert inquiries into sales. Daily responsibilities include making outbound calls, responding to incoming queries, qualifying leads, maintaining a detailed call and lead log, and following up consistently to close orders. The role involves coordinating with the sales and showroom teams to schedule visits, share quotations, and support order processing. The Telesales Executive is also expected to provide courteous customer support, resolve basic concerns, and help ensure a smooth pre- and post-sales experience.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills, including clear spoken English and local language proficiency, and the ability to explain product features effectively.
  • Customer service and customer support skills to handle queries, build rapport, and provide a positive experience over the phone.
  • Lead generation and sales skills to identify opportunities, qualify prospects, and convert leads into confirmed orders.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CRM or spreadsheet tools to record calls, update lead status, and track follow-ups.
  • Prior telesales or retail interiors/building materials sales experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work on-site full time in Kolkata, manage targets, and collaborate with showroom and field sales teams.
  • Minimum high school diploma; a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is an added advantage.
