Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Telemarketing Sales Representative role based in Chennai. The Telemarketing Sales Representative will make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers, introduce Sicherheit Systems electronic security products, and explain features and benefits in a clear and persuasive manner. The role includes qualifying leads, managing call lists, scheduling appointments or product demos for field sales teams, and following up on inquiries to move opportunities through the sales pipeline. The representative will handle basic customer queries, record accurate call details and outcomes in the CRM, and collaborate with the sales team to achieve individual and team targets. The position also involves meeting daily and weekly performance goals, maintaining a professional phone presence, and providing feedback from customer interactions to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Support, with an ability to handle inquiries and concerns professionally.
  • Excellent verbal Communication and Phone Etiquette skills for clear, courteous, and persuasive conversations.
  • Proven Sales skills, including lead qualification, objection handling, and closing or securing appointments.
  • Comfort using basic computer tools and CRM or call-tracking systems to log and manage call activity.
  • Ability to work on-site in Chennai, meet daily call and conversion targets, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Prior experience in telemarketing, inside sales, or call center roles is preferred; experience in security systems or related industries is an advantage.
  • Minimum high school diploma; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is an added benefit.
