We are seeking a BIM Manager with 8-10 years of experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading BIM implementation across projects, ensuring adherence to standards, and driving collaboration among cross-functional teams to deliver excellence in data center and commercial projects.
Qualifications, Role Specific Knowledge, and Experience
- Any graduate, BE/B.tech., Diploma in Electrical
- Total experience of 8-10 years of experience in BIM, Revit, and AutoCAD with minimum 3-5 years of experience as BIM Manager or AM
- Clash detection and resolution
- Software skills required in Autodesk Revit MEP or Electric (Must), Navisworks, AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Data center, Autodesk build, Collaboration Pro (Good to have)
- Good communication skills
Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and implement BIM vision, execution plans, standards, and protocols across projects.
- Drive adoption of BIM technologies and workflows to achieve organizational goals.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams for BIM-related matters.
Team Management & Mentorship
- Lead, mentor, and develop BIM teams to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Allocate resources effectively and oversee workload distribution among BIM modelers.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team expertise in Revit, Navisworks, and collaboration platforms.
Project Coordination
- Oversee model coordination efforts across disciplines, ensuring clash-free and constructible designs.
- Review client-provided LOD 300/350 models and guide teams in developing shop drawings and LOD 400/500 deliverables.
- Ensure timely delivery of BIM outputs aligned with project milestones and client expectations.
Quality Assurance & Risk Management
- Establish and enforce quality control processes for BIM models and data.
- Identify risks and discrepancies in BIM deliverables, implementing corrective actions proactively.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards and client-specific requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to address BIM-related concerns and provide innovative solutions.
- Present BIM strategies, progress reports, and model outcomes to clients and senior management.
- Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate emerging BIM tools, platforms, and workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Champion digital transformation initiatives, including integration with platforms like BIM 360, ACC, Procore, and Aconex.
- Drive continuous improvement in BIM processes to deliver cost-effective and high-quality outcomes.
