Job Summary
We are looking for skilled and physically fit Telecom Field Riggers to support telecom tower installation, maintenance, and field deployment activities. The candidate will be responsible for working at height, installing and maintaining telecom equipment, and supporting site activities as per engineering and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, dismantling, and maintenance activities on telecom towers and structures.
- Carry out rigging activities for antennas, RF equipment, cables, feeders, brackets, and related telecom equipment.
- Work at height using appropriate climbing, rigging, and safety equipment.
- Assist in antenna installation, alignment, azimuth and tilt adjustment.
- Perform cable routing, dressing, connector installation, and related site work.
- Support installation and maintenance of telecom equipment at customer/tower sites.
- Conduct site-level troubleshooting and assist engineering teams during deployment.
- Follow work instructions, site procedures, and safety standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment required for field activities.
- Prepare basic site activity and installation reports.
- Travel to different customer/tower locations as required.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in telecom tower rigging and installation.
- Knowledge of telecom antennas, RF equipment, feeders, cables, brackets, and tower structures.
- Ability to climb telecom towers and work safely at height.
- Basic understanding of antenna installation and alignment.
- Familiarity with rigging tools, safety harnesses, ropes, and climbing equipment.
- Good physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor environments.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for field assignments.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma / 10th / 12th or equivalent technical qualification.
- Relevant telecom/tower rigging certification or training will be an advantage.
Experience
- Relevant experience in Telecom Tower Rigging / Telecom Installation / Tower Maintenance preferred.
- Freshers with relevant technical training and strong willingness to work in field conditions may also be considered.
Work Requirements
- Field-based position.
- Extensive travel to telecom/customer sites.
- Work at height is an essential part of the role.
- Candidate must be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.
