Role Description The Tele Sales Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The Tele Sales Officer will make outbound and receive inbound calls to promote products and services, explain offerings clearly, and convert leads into successful sales. Responsibilities include identifying potential customers, qualifying leads, maintaining an updated database, and following up consistently to close opportunities. The role involves providing courteous customer support, handling basic queries or objections, and escalating issues when necessary. The Tele Sales Officer will also collaborate with the sales team to achieve individual and team targets, prepare daily call and sales reports, and share feedback from customers to improve sales strategies and service quality.
Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including clear spoken English/Hindi and active listening abilities.
  • Experience or demonstrated ability in Lead Generation and basic Sales Operations, including maintaining call logs and updating CRM or sales records.
  • Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, provide accurate information, and build trust over the phone.
  • Understanding of Channel Sales or willingness to learn how to coordinate with partners and internal sales teams.
  • Prior telesales, inside sales, or call center experience is preferred but motivated entry-level candidates are welcome.
  • Comfort working with call targets, performance metrics, and structured scripts while adapting to customer needs.
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, spreadsheets, email) and ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Minimum high school diploma; a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, manage time effectively, and maintain a professional, respectful communication style with all customers.
