Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Coimbatore for a Tele Marketing & Office Operations Executive. The role involves telemarketing activities, managing customer inquiries, maintaining customer relationships, performing various administrative duties, assisting in office operations, and managing basic accounting tasks. The role requires collaboration within the team and ensuring the efficient functioning of daily office activities.

Ashoka Handloom Arts, a B2B-focused handloom saree manufacturer and wholesaler based in Coimbatore, is looking to hire a Tele Marketing & Office Operations Executive to support our customer outreach, enquiry handling, and internal coordination functions.

This role is ideal for a candidate who is comfortable with regular tele-calling, has basic accounting knowledge, and can communicate effectively with customers across multiple South Indian languages.

Key Responsibilities

Tele Marketing & Customer Communication (Primary Responsibility)

  • Make outbound and inbound calls to existing and prospective B2B customers
  • Follow up on enquiries, quotations, and ongoing discussions
  • Maintain accurate call logs and customer follow-up records

Online Trade Enquiry Management

  • Handle and respond to enquiries received through platforms such as TradeIndia
  • Identify genuine business enquiries and filter non-relevant or spam leads
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and proper documentation

Office Operations & Coordination

  • Support day-to-day office activities and internal coordination
  • Assist in maintaining records, data entry, and documentation
  • Coordinate with accounts and operations teams as required

Basic Accounting Support

  • Understand sales invoices, purchase bills, and basic accounting entries
  • Assist with routine accounting-related follow-ups (no advanced accounting involved)
Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: B.Com or equivalent (mandatory)
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Tele Marketing / Customer Calling / Lead Follow-up roles
  • Language Proficiency (Mandatory):
  • English working knowledge
  • Any two South Indian languages: Tamil / Malayalam / Telugu / Kannada
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working with daily calling and follow-ups
  • Organized, dependable, and process-oriented
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, email, WhatsApp)
  • Ability to handle repetitive enquiry-based work professionally
Preferred (Nice to Have)
  • Prior experience in textile, saree, or wholesale trading businesses
  • Exposure to B2B sales or trade portals
  • Knowledge of additional Indian languages
