Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tele-counselor located at Amity University's Ahmedabad campus. In this role, the Tele-counselor will handle inbound and outbound calls to provide information about various academic programs, admissions processes, and eligibility criteria. They will guide prospective students and parents, address inquiries, follow up on leads, and assist applicants with completing the admissions process. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of communication and ensuring a positive experience for potential candidates during interactions.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
• General understanding of academic programs and admissions processes, with the ability to provide accurate guidance to prospective students
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry
• Customer service and problem-solving abilities to address inquiries and concerns effectively
• Proactive and goal-oriented mindset with the ability to meet deadlines efficiently
• Experience in counseling, telemarketing, or a similar role is preferred
• Fluency in English
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; certification in counseling or communication is a plus
