Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and result-driven Business development intern/ Tele-caller intern who will be responsible for generating leads, conducting cold calls, qualifying prospects, and arranging meetings for the sales team.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, confidence in handling decision-makers, and the ability to convert conversations into business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Cold Calling
- Make outbound cold calls to potential corporate clients, startups, and business owners.
- Identify decision-makers (HR, admin, CXOs, and operations heads).
- Introduce XRE's services in office leasing, warehousing, retail & industrial spaces.
- Generate qualified leads and build a strong sales pipeline.
Meeting Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate meetings between prospects and senior consultants.
- Follow up with prospects via calls, WhatsApp, and email.
- Ensure proper briefing of client requirements before meetings.
CRM & Data Management
- Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, and follow-ups.
- Update CRM and lead trackers regularly.
- Prepare daily/weekly performance reports.
Business Development Support
- Assist in database building (corporates, SMEs, logistics companies, retailers).
- Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Conduct follow-ups for repeat business and referrals.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Daily outbound calls target
- Qualified leads generated per week
- Meetings arranged per month
- Conversion ratio from meeting to mandate
- Revenue contribution support
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- 0–3 years of experience in tele-calling, real estate, B2B sales, or business development.
- Excellent verbal communication and persuasion skills.
- Confident, presentable, and professional attitude.
- Strong follow-up and negotiation skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel & CRM systems.
- Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive approach.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in commercial real estate broking.
- Experience in B2B cold calling.
- Familiarity with the corporate leasing/warehousing sector.
