- Strong technical and practical use of Tekla Structures in a Structural Steel / RCC work fabrication environment.
- Tekla 3d modeling.
- Knowledge of workflows & interfaces of structural steel workshop engineering & Fabrication.
- Able to create Model of any structure based on input provided.
- Able to create components. Able to create connections.
- Able to place connections in model.
- Able to do assembly drawings. General arrangement drawings.
- Able to create schedule (Embed/Reinforcement/ Quantity calculation) based on model created.
- Able to create 2D drawing (shop drawing) with annotation from existing model.
- Editing of erection drawing, assembly & single parts.
- Good knowledge of all International code & OSHA standards.
- Must have sound technical knowledge in Civil & Structural.
- Hands on experience on Precast/Rebar Tekla is advantageous.
- Continuously update and improve skills and knowledge of Tekla Structures software and industry trends.
- Precast concrete experience will be an added advantage.
- Experience with the US, UK standard is preferable.
- Learn and understand US building codes.
Requirements
Qualification : Diploma/BE (Civil Engineering) with steel structure expertise.
Experience : 5 years
- Proficiency in Tekla Structures software.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Experience in creating detailed shop and fabrication drawings for steel structures.
- Knowledge of industry standards and codes related to steel detailing.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with engineers and architects.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve design issues.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and 3D modeling software is a plus.
