Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai for a Tekla Detailer & Checker. The primary responsibilities include creating detailed drawings and structural steel models using Tekla software in accordance with project specifications, checking designs for accuracy, and ensuring all project requirements are met. Other tasks include collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure project deadlines and deliverables are achieved, along with maintaining adherence to quality standards throughout the detailing process.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Tekla software for detailing, modeling, and checking
- Strong understanding of structural steel design and detailing principles
- Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and project specifications
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Prior experience in the construction or engineering industry is an advantage
- A diploma or degree in Engineering, CAD Design, or related field
