Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Chennai for a Tekla Detailer & Modeler. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and 3D models using Tekla software for various engineering projects. Daily tasks include generating accurate structural detailing, interpreting technical drawings, collaborating with the design team, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Additional responsibilities include resolving design challenges and coordinating with project managers to meet deadlines and project goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software
- Strong skills in structural detailing, modeling and project coordination.
- Understanding of technical standards and codes related to structural engineering
- Teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet project deadlines and work in a collaborative environment
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Experience in structural design, steel detailing, or similar project work
- Familiarity with industry practices, standards, and safety regulations
