Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Tekla Checker located in Salem. The Tekla Checker will be responsible for reviewing and verifying structural steel detailing drawings and models in Tekla Structures. The candidate will ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications and standards. Daily tasks include performing clash detection, coordinating with the detailing team, and providing feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications
- Expertise in using Tekla Structures for steel detailing and checking
- Experience in performing clash detection and BIM coordination
- Strong knowledge of steel detailing standards and protocols
- Ability to review and interpret structural drawings and models
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience in the construction or fabrication industry is a plus
- Relevant qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field
