Description
Techversant is seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect who will serve as the technical authority and go-to person for complex engineering challenges. This role requires deep expertise across multiple programming languages, architecture styles, cloud platforms, and AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, and leadership teams to design scalable, secure, and future-ready systems.
Experience
- 1015 years of overall software engineering and architecture experience
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Design :
- Define and own end-to-end solution architecture for large-scale, mission-critical systems.
- Design systems using multiple architectural styles, including :
- Microservices
- Event-driven architecture
- Serverless
- Monolithic-to-modernization patterns
- Apply design patterns and enterprise integration patterns to solve complex technical problems.
- Ensure architectural decisions align with scalability, security, performance, and cost optimization goals.
Technical Leadership
- Act as the primary technical point for engineering teams.
- Mentor senior engineers and associate architects on architecture best practices.
- Review and approve solution designs, high-level designs (HLD), and low-level designs (LLD).
- Drive architectural governance, standards, and best practices across teams.
Cloud & Platform Engineering
- Design and implement solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Guide teams on containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD strategies.
Emerging Technologies
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where they add business value.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with managers, engineering leaders, security teams, and business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and secure technical solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills
Programming & Development :
- Strong hands-on experience with multiple programming languages, such as : Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular
- Deep understanding of OO design principles, SOLID principles, and clean architecture.
Architecture & Patterns
Proven experience in :
- Design patterns
- Distributed systems design
- API-first and domain-driven design (DDD)
- Messaging and event streaming systems
Cloud & DevOps
- Experience in at least one major cloud platform : AWS / Azure / GCP
- Containers (Docker)
- Orchestration (Kubernetes)
- CI/CD pipelines
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
Security & Reliability
- Strong understanding of :
- IAM and access control
- Encryption and data protection
- Secure API design
- Compliance and audit requirements
- Experience designing highly reliable and resilient systems.
