As a Technology Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and setting up both production and non-production cloud environments tailored to project or product needs. This role includes deploying automation pipelines to streamline environment creation and configuration, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency. The engineer collaborates with various teams to maintain and enhance platform stability, continuously improving processes to support evolving technological requirements and project goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of automation strategies to optimize environment setup and maintenance.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to foster professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align platform capabilities with organizational objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Strong understanding of automation tools and scripting languages for environment configuration.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex platform-related issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environment setups.
