Project Role : Technology OpS Support Practitioner

Project Role Description : Own the integrity and governance of systems, including best practices for delivering services. Develop, deploy and support infrastructures, applications and technology initiatives from an architectural and operational perspective in conjunction with existing standards and methods of delivery.

Must have skills : Vmware Virtualization Administration

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary:

As a Technology OpS Support Practitioner, a typical day involves ensuring the integrity and governance of various systems by adhering to established best practices for service delivery. The role includes developing, deploying, and supporting infrastructure and technology initiatives while aligning with architectural standards and operational procedures. Collaboration with teams to maintain seamless operations and continuous improvement of technology environments is a key aspect of daily activities, ensuring that systems remain reliable and efficient within the organizational framework.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Monitor and maintain system performance to ensure optimal operation and availability.
  • Document processes and configurations to support knowledge sharing and operational consistency.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when needed.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Vmware Virtualization Administration.
  • Experience with managing virtual environments, including deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of virtualization concepts, resource allocation, and performance tuning.
  • Ability to implement and manage backup and recovery solutions within virtualized infrastructures.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques to ensure system health and security.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support operational goals.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Vmware Virtualization Administration.
  • This position is based at our BDC7B - SEZ location.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
